Dr. Amjad Aqeel
Title: Vice Chanacellor
Doctorate of science from tokyo institute of technology Japan
Dr. Amjad Aqeel is an Organic Chemist having MSc from Punjab University with distinction and later, MS and DSc from the Department of Life Chemistry, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan. His research area is Synthetic Organic Chemistry and was involved in the synthesis of Branched Chain Sugars and fragments of various antibiotics like Rubradirin, Kijinamicin and Sibiromycin. He also worked on the synthesis of N-Acyl Kansosamine containing Trisaccharide, the bioactive end of lipo oligosaccharides from Mycobacterium Kansasii. He is author/coauthor of several research papers published in international journals.
He has 37 years work experience that is a unique blend of Academic (13 years) and Industrial work (24 years). He joined Department of Chemistry, University of Engineering & Technology first as Lecturer (1976) and later, as Associate Professor (1988).
In 1989, he joined the API manufacturing Plant of Glaxo Laboratories, Lahore and later, remained associated with GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan for 23 years till 2012. During this period he worked at various positions - from Section Head to Site Director - and acquired extensive knowledge of working in both Primary (API manufacturing) and Secondary Operations (dosage forms) with special interest in Sterile Manufacturing.
Following retirement from GSK and till March 2013, Dr. Amjad worked with Ghani Glass Pakistan Ltd as Director Technical, responsible for managing operations in all the three plants in the country.
His industrial experience comprises of Production, Quality, EHS, Operational Excellence and Risk Management. Involvement in Lean Sigma implementation significantly contributed in waste minimization and productivity/efficiency improvements and as a result obtained several awards including Regional Awards and President’s Role of Honour.
In view of his natural instinct in Teaching/Coaching and Human Interaction, he was selected by GSK for a specialized training for Behavioural Change Management, leading to creating High Performance Teams and qualified as certified Facilitator for Leadership Edge Program by Senn Delaney, USA.
Quality has been Dr. Aqeel’s passion throughout making significant contribution in QMS implementation and imparting Training in GMP within the Company and conducted several Training Sessions sponsored by MOH and Pakistan Pharmaceutical Association. Dr. Aqeel was selected as GMP expert by MOH, Govt. of Pakistan. He has also qualified Auditor/Lead Auditor Certification for ISO 9000-2008 by SGS, Pakistan.
Dr. Aqeel is a member of Advisory Council, Department of Chemistry, Forman Christian College University, Lahore and Pharmaceutical Healthcare Services Society, UK.
During his assignments in various capacities, Dr. Amjad visited UK, USA, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. He loves Gardening and Music, Itsuwa Mayumi (Japan), Lionel Richie (USA), and Nusrat Fateh Ali (Pakistan), are his favorite singers while roses are his passion.

Iqbal Muhammad

Mr. Iqbal has worked on Project formulation and appraisal, sustainable NRM, and trade in wood-fuel related products are his other specialties. Before joining Qarshi University as its first Registrar, Mr. Iqbal has worked in a number of organizations – national international. He remained Consultant, Environmental Engineering at PFI, Peshawar; Director Planning and later, Registrar, Kohat University of Science & Technology; Micro-Enterprise Development Specialist, WWF-P; National Consultant to PCDP, an EU-funded project; Sr. Conservation Officer, WWF-P; and Environmental Engineer at PFI, Peshawar. To his credit, Mr. Iqbal has 46 research publications, including concept papers, development project proposals, etc. He had been the first Convener, UFM Committee; Convener, Prospectus Designing Committee; and Member, Land Acquisition Committee of Kohat University.

With a PhD in Computer Science from the UK, Dr. Pasha has more than 30 years experience of teaching, research and educational management, Knowledge management, technology-based learning, artificial intelligence, curricula development, and trainings and workshops are his other specialties. Dr. Pasha is open to innovative ideas and enjoys projects that challenge status quo. Some of his assignments include:

JawadYousaf is the graduate of London School of Economics and Political Science. Heis Systems Auditor, certified by ISACA (USA). Currently he is Assistant Professor of Management and Information Systems at Qarshi University.As well as being Assistant Professor in Management and Information Systems he is a Visiting Fellow of other universities. Prior to that he researched and taught Management science at university of South Asia. Jawad has very radical yet constructive views on his subjects, and is very critical of what he calls "TheCorporate Cynicism." He has rigid views and aggressive polemics against the “Inappropriate Corporate Culture” and “Side Effects of Technology on Society” what he calls “Love affair of a Digital Being”.
Prof. Dr. Abdul Qaddus

Having done MBBS fro Dow Medical College, Dr. Qaddus has MCPS, NAMS (Austria), MSc in Medical Administration and Associate of American College of Health Care Executives (USA). And finally, Dr. Qaddus earned PhD. He has also completed a number of additional courses including courses on Law, Management, Medical Admin, HR, Financial Sustainability, Good Governance, etc. He has served in Army Medical CollegeArmed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute, and visiting faculty in NIPA, IPH, NUST, HSA, WAPDA, ICMS, PAF, etc.Dr. Qaddus was awarded the highest Civil Award by the Government of Libya and got appreciation from a number or organizations including MoFA (Pak), Swedish Army, Air France, Bata (Canada), NUST, etc. To his credit, Dr. Qaddus has 600+ papers and authored a book “Hospital Management”.

Nasir Ali Khan

After graduation Mr. Nasir joined the Ministry of Industries and worked on cluster development projects for surgical and entertainment sectors initiated by the Government of Pakistan. His first stint as a faculty member was at the University of Management & Technology followed by the Pakistan Institute of Fashion & Design as Deputy Head of Fashion Marketing & Merchandizing Department. He has worked on various training programs on faculty development organized by educational institutions and capacity development for budding women entrepreneurs conducted by USAID.
